We offer a variety of formats for portraits. We will come to your home if you Prefer. We are quite portable. We will set up a mini studio, indoors or outdoors. Currently, our studio is in our home. We apply the principles of traditional portraits while striving for a natural portrayal of the people individual involved.
We can also create a more relaxed and casual atmosphere. We will also do environmental portraits on location. These incorporate the principles of classical portraiture with a twist by including nature such as Red Rock and Mount Charleston, or an instrument you play or a sport you participate in. This photo session is done in a place of personal significance such as your home or a location that holds special memories or has sentimental value to you. We can discuss this during the consultation.
We offer portraits for families in the traditional or classical form of portraits. We also have a variety of more relaxed and fun family portraits. We can try both, just be willing to change moods and clothes. As mentioned in the Portraits heading, your home studio or ours, indoors or outdoors.
Our portraiture includes the classical portrait style every parent and grand-parent loves. We add the informal documentary style portrait, which is a more casual, spontaneous approach. Plan on the style being your style. If you have a hobby or activity you would like to emphasize, we will incorporate this into your portrait and show your personality, not ours. We will discuss the options during your consultation.
We will come to your party and photograph the event in a journalistic style. We will also set up for more formal portraits, as you want for your celebration.
We will help you advertise your start-up business. We create business cards and photograph aspects of your business for you to add to your website or brochure. We retouch and edit the work to create the mood you desire to set for your advertisement. If you sell merchandise, we can set up the shot and create the image you want, to encourage the consumer to come to you. It's all about appearance.
